Gayle Madeira is an award-winning painter, dancer and choreographer who has been based in New York City for eighteen years. Her paintings are included in numerous collections and she has been exhibited in several galleries. She has toured extensively nationally and internationally with various dance companies including her own.

LATEST NEWS AND EVENTS

May 2010: Two of Gayle's charcoal drawings were juried into "The World of Artists, The International Women's Show", an international exhibit at the Howland Cultural Center, Beacon, NY, from May 1-30. Opening reception is Saturday, May 1, 2010 from 2-5pm.  The Howland Cultural Center is at 577 Main St., Beacon, NY.

June 2010: Gayle will have one charcoal portrait showing at the annual National Association of Women Artist's show which will take place at the National Arts Club, 15 Grammercy Park South, NYC from June 9-27, 2010.

April 2010: Gayle just launched a separate portrait-only website to market her portraits separately from the rest of her work:  www.GayleMadeiraPortraits.com
